Two hotels report free charging; the rest bundle it into the stay or charge separately, and six restrict access to guests only.

Nightly rates run from $496 to $1851. Networks include ChargePoint, Tesla, Flo, and HoneyBadger Charging, so plan for a mix of connectors.

Good to know before you book in Vancouver

  • Confirm the charger is working and available at booking. Availability listed here can change.
  • Only one Vancouver listing reports DC fast on site. Plan L2 charging as an overnight, not a quick top-up.
  • Tesla Destination chargers are often guests-only. Non-Tesla EVs need a NACS adapter to use them.
  • Six listings restrict charging to guests. Ask whether it is reserved or first come, first served.
  • For ChargePoint sites (Hotel BLU, Fairmont Waterfront, others), check pricing and set up the app before arrival.

How our data works

Charging data on booking sites is wrong often enough that we check it ourselves, property by property.

01
Mapped from public data

National charger registries, filtered to hotels, are the backbone of every listing.

02
Checked against hotel websites

Pricing, access and conditions confirmed on each hotel's own site where published.

03
Date-stamped

Every listing shows the month we last updated it. Anything unconfirmed is left off, never guessed.

Charging at Vancouver hotels: FAQ

Which Vancouver hotels have Tesla destination chargers?+

AZUR Legacy Collection Hotel, Coast Coal Harbour Vancouver Hotel by APA, EXchange Hotel Vancouver, Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni and 6 more list Tesla destination charging. Non-Tesla EVs need a NACS adapter for these, and access is often guests-only, so confirm at booking.

Can I charge at these Vancouver hotels without being a guest?+

Assume you need to be staying there. Hotel chargers are generally put in for overnight guests, Tesla Destination units especially, and a property can restrict them at any time. Where a hotel states the charger is for guests only, we say so on its page. Confirm with the hotel before you rely on it.

Do Teslas work with J1772 hotel chargers?+

Yes: every Tesla ships with a J1772 adapter. The reverse needs care: non-Tesla EVs need a NACS adapter for Tesla Destination chargers, and availability at the front desk varies by hotel.

How current is this charging data?+

Each listing shows the month we last updated it. Anything we couldn't confirm is left off the page rather than guessed. Charger hardware, pricing, and access rules do change without much notice, so confirm with the hotel when you book.
